Stall holders start setting up the Sunday markets very early - often before sunrise.
Many travel long distances to be part of the colourful gathering of diverse retailers. Visitors, too, come from all over the region and start rolling in soon after 8 am.
The markets can accommodate more than 100 stalls and the range of products varies widely - from clothing to fresh vegetables and from tools to toys.
Some of the sites have power available and many stall holders have regular spots. The markets generally run until about 1 pm
Approach from the north or south on the Princes Highway, turning left or right at the traffic lights in the centre of town (Wason Street).
The harbour entrance is at the bottom of the hill on the left.
Parking on site is limited to stall holders, but there is ample parking in adjoining streets and in nearby car parks.
